Job summary
Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for a manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metro area.
You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment in an Allen Bradley PLC environment to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime. Responsibilities include electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI programming, and leading projects from initiation to completion, with strong cross-functional collaboration and FAT documentation; relocation assistance and a competitive salary
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education in conjunction with related work experience and/or training.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain effective working relationships with related departments to support operations.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V control circuits to 480V.
- Support projects with controls engineering expertise, including design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Lead projects coordinating activities, timelines, and requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports and FAT-related documentation.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and OHSA/EHS standards.
