Key People is seeking a Controls Engineer for our southwest suburban Atlanta facility. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems in an Allen Bradley PLC environment to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.

The role requires leading or supporting manufacturing projects from initiation to completion, with responsibilities spanning electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI programming, and coordination with internal teams and vendors.

Formación

Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education in conjunction with related work experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.

Responsabilidades

Maintain effective working relationships with related departments to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V control circuits to 480V equipment circuits; diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
Support manufacturing projects by providing controls engineering expertise, including design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Lead projects by coordinating activities, timelines, and requirements with internal departments, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation related to controls engineering activities and FAT.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and internal EHS requirements.
