Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in the Atlanta area seeks a skilled Controls Engineer to support multiple manufacturing processes including stamping, zinc die casting, plating/finishing and assembly. You will troubleshoot electrical and control systems, modify machine programs, and lead or support projects from initiation through completion to improve safety and uptime.

In this role you will work in an Allen Bradley PLC environment, performing PLC/HMI programming, debugging, FATs, and documentation, with

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Maintenance, Toolroom, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology Team and Production to support operations.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on equipment from 24V to 480V circuits, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide controls engineering expertise for projects including design, programming, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Lead projects by coordinating activities, timelines, and requirements with stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports and FATs, energy and process optimization analyses.
• Maintain compliance with OHSA, EHS, and regulatory standards.
