Job summary
Talent With Heart in the Atlanta area is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI programming, and leading projects to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime in an Allen Bradley PLC environment across stamping, zinc die casting, plating, finishing and assembly.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years.
- Experience in Allen Bradley PLC environments and manufacturing settings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cross-functional relationships to support operations.
- Electrical troubleshooting on equipment ranging from 24V to 480V.
- Provide controls engineering expertise for projects including design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Lead projects by coordinating timelines with internal departments, external contractors, vendors and stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, FATs, and documentation for controls activities.
- Ensure safety compliance with OHSA and internal EHS standards.
