Job summary
H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a highly capable Controls Engineer to join a major manufacturing facility in the Atlanta area.
The position requires troubleshooting, programming, and integration of equipment and automation systems within an Allen-Bradley PLC environment. You will support or lead manufacturing projects, drive equipment safety, efficiency, and uptime, and work across stamping, die casting, plating, finishing and assembly processes.
Qualifications
- Electrical troubleshooting of production equipment across 24V to 480V circuits.
- PLC/HMI programming and commissioning to improve safety and uptime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and test circuits.
- Familiar with ABB, FANUC, or Universal Robots automation platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple departments to troubleshoot and integrate automation systems.
- Lead projects from initiation through completion, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, FATs, and improve energy and process efficiency.
- Maintain safety compliance per OHSA and internal EHS standards.
