Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners in the Atlanta metropolitan area is seeking a Controls Engineer to join a high-volume manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, program and integrate equipment and automation systems, with a focus on safety, uptime and efficiency.

The role operates in an Allen Bradley PLC environment across stamping, die casting, plating and assembly processes. Responsibilities include electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI modifications, project leadership, FAT, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of related work experience.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Maintenance, Toolroom, Manufacturing Engineering and Production to support operations.
• Electrical troubleshooting on equipment from 24V to 480V circuits; diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
• Provide controls engineering support for projects: specs, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning and testing.
• Lead projects by coordinating activities with internal and external teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and FAT, energy and process optimization documentation.
• Ensure safety compliance with OHSA and internal EHS standards.
