Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for an on-site role in the Atlanta area. The engineer will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems across departments to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime in a high-demand manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI programming, electrical schematics, FAT, and leading projects from initiation through completion.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and program controls systems for manufacturing equipment to improve safety and uptime.
• Lead projects coordinating with internal departments, contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare technical reports and FAT-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal EHS standards.
