Job summary
True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to support a manufacturing facility in the Atlanta area. The role involves troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.
You will work in an Allen Bradley PLC environment across stamping and finishing processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical controls, PLC programming, and robotics, with experience using RSLogix/Studio 5000 and related
Qualifications
- Four-year technical degree or equivalent; two years of controls experience preferred.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI, and industrial networks.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and program Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs on production lines.
- Lead controls projects from concept to commissioning with internal teams and vendors.
- Develop and modify electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Improve safety, efficiency, and line uptime through system improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and FAT procedures.
