Job summary
Your Talent Team is seeking a Controls Engineer for our southwest suburban Atlanta manufacturing facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating automation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime in a high-volume environment.
You'll work in an Allen Bradley PLC environment across stamping, zinc die casting, plating/finishing and assembly processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading projects from initiation to completion.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain relationships with maintenance, toolroom, manufacturing engineering and production to support operations.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V to 480V circuits.
- Support and lead manufacturing projects with controls engineering expertise including PLC/HMI programming.
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, and requirements with internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation related to controls engineering activities.
- Maintain compliance with OHSA and internal EHS standards.
