Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join a major manufacturer in the Atlanta metro area. You will work in an Allen Bradley PLC environment on electrical troubleshooting, programming, and integration of automation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.

You will collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams, lead projects from initiation to FAT, and develop technical reports while ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Four-year technical education or degree or two years of related education with experience.
• Prefer at least 2–5 years as a controls engineer.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical/control systems on production equipment.
• Modify machine programs and PLC/HMI logic to improve performance.
• Lead projects coordinating timelines with internal departments, contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare technical reports and FAT documentation for controls work.
• Maintain safety compliance with OHSA and internal EHS standards.
• Collaborate across departments to optimize equipment uptime and safety.
