Job summary
Talent Solutions Partners seeks a seasoned Controls Engineer to support a major manufacturing facility in the Atlanta area. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate electrical and automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics, across stamping, die casting, plating, and assembly lines.
You will lead projects, coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams, and drive improvements in safety, reliability, and uptime while adhering to safety standards and FAT procedures.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years with related experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but 2+ years will be considered.
- Experience in Allen-Bradley PLC environments and machine automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems on production equipment.
- Familiarity with robotic platforms and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems.
- Lead or support manufacturing projects from initiation through completion.
- Improve equipment safety, efficiency, and uptime.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting from 24V to 480V systems.
- Prepare technical reports and FAT-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OHSA standards.
