Job summary

Irvine Company’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented administrative professional to support a group of Talent Advisors and coordinate all phases of the recruiting cycle.

The role includes posting jobs, marketing, coordinating interviews and events, processing background checks and references, and providing timely, professional responses to managers, candidates, and vendors; this is a temporary/contract position.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of administrative work experience in a fast-paced office environment (preferably in Talent Acquisition/HR).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with diverse groups including leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the Talent Acquisition team, applicants, hiring managers and vendors.
• Review job descriptions before advertising new positions.
• Market and advertise jobs on websites, social media, campus sites, and other marketing platforms.
• Coordinate and attend candidate interview events and job fairs; track progress in the applicant tracking system.
• Reply to inquiries from hiring managers, candidates or vendors in a professional and timely manner.
• Process candidate background checks, drug and physical screens.
• Complete verification of employment and/or references.
• Assist with various projects and provide support as needed to the Talent Acquisition team.
• Other duties as assigned.
