Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role covering Montgomery County, MD. The position offers a 1st shift schedule Mon–Fri, with hours 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm and a half-day EOS. The assignment is a 3-month project with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation while adhering to OSHA/DEP regulations. Prior phlebotomy experience and state certification are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, store and transport specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and caregivers.
• Update patient information and log test requisitions accurately.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
