Job summary

UniFirst is hiring a Customer Service Representative on an 18-month contract. The role acts as the liaison between customers and the company, supporting the Sales Department and handling accounts receivable tasks with a focus on accuracy and timely responses.

The ideal candidate has proven customer service experience, solid Microsoft Office skills, and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with a 5-day work week and weekends off.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Customer Service experience in an administrative setting preferred.
• Prior Accounts Receivable experience encouraged.
• Verbal & written communication skills: professional telephone and email etiquette.
• Active listener, responsive, and personable.
• Time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Collaborative, team-player capable of working independently.
• Comfortable performing basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions related to accounts, procedures, and services by telephone or email.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and UniFirst personnel.
• Perform accounts receivable duties: contact outstanding accounts, process credits and exchanges, resolve conflicts via escalation process.
• Support UniFirst's Sales Department with administrative tasks.
• Conduct basic data entry and other administrative duties.
