Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Engineer to champion continuous improvement across operations. You will apply CI methods, lead cross-functional projects, and drive value through data analytics, engineering, and automation. Interface with employees at all levels and may supervise CI resources under the CI Manager.

Your role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth, leveraging Ryder lean tools to identify root causes and sustain gains in a dynamic warehouse/transport environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with related experience in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Collects data, performs statistical analysis, maps processes, and identifies gaps.
• Lead high impact CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost.
• Coach staff in lean methods and CI tools.
• Supervise CI engineers and participate in hiring and performance decisions.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events.
• Provide regular progress reports and supply chain insights.
