Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Consumer Finance Litigation Associate with three to five years of relevant experience. The role may be based in any office, including The Link virtual office, with strong preference for candidates licensed in CA, TX, FL, NJ, NY, or OH.

You will defend financial services clients in both state and federal courts, leveraging knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA and related statutes.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
• Active bar license in the state of the applying office or a commitment to obtain one as soon as possible.
• Experience defending financial services companies in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Defend financial services clients in state and federal courts.
• Work with FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA and other consumer protection statutes.
• Represent mortgage servicers and/or originators in foreclosures, quiet title actions, and related disputes.
