Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Consumer Finance Litigation Associate with three to five years of relevant experience. You will defend financial services clients in state and federal courts and work within our Financial Services & Capital Markets group.

Candidates must be admitted to the bar in a primary office state or be willing to obtain admittance quickly; strong academic credentials and ability to manage multiple matters are essential.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant experience in consumer finance litigation.
• Experience defending financial services in state and federal courts.
• Knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA and related consumer statutes.
• Experience representing mortgage servicers/originators in foreclosures or title disputes.

Responsibilities

• Litigate and manage consumer finance matters with the Financial Services & Capital Markets team.
• Collaborate with partners and associates across offices, including virtual locations.
