Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Consumer Finance Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will handle complex matters in state and federal courts and work with the Financial Services & Capital Markets team.

Candidates should have active bar licensure in the applicable state or be able to obtain one soon; California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Ohio preferred for the virtual office location.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of consumer finance litigation experience.
• Active state bar license in the relevant office state or ability to obtain it quickly.
• Experience defending financial services in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Defend financial services clients in state and federal courts.
• Advise on FCRA/FDCPA/RESPA and related statutes.
• Represent mortgage servicers/originators in foreclosures and title disputes.
