Qualifications

Active bar license in the state of the applying office or commitment to obtain one ASAP.
3–5 years of relevant experience in consumer finance litigation.
Experience defending financial services in state and federal courts.
Knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, and related consumer protection statutes.
Experience representing mortgage servicers/originators in foreclosures and related matters.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings.
Advise on applicable consumer protection statutes and regulatory risk.
Develop legal strategies, briefs, and pleadings for complex matters.
Collaborate with the Financial Services & Capital Markets team on matters and strategy.
