Job summary

Ecolab’s Institutional division seeks a Market Sales Representative in the Newark, NJ market to grow sales within an existing territory using consultative techniques. You will own customer relationships, expand solution adoption, and drive new business by leveraging market knowledge to close opportunities in cleaning and sanitation, safety, quality, and operations.

Expect to travel roughly 10% and reside within commutable distance of Newark, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years of sales experience required.
• Experience in broadline distribution, customer service, foodservice, hospitality, or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth across assigned accounts or geography to meet or exceed targets.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM and digital tools.
• Communicate total value to customers and grow solutions within existing accounts.
• Develop and leverage market knowledge to identify new competitive opportunities.
