Everstory Partners is hiring a Sales Counselor in Memphis, TN to help families navigate funeral and cemetery options with care and clarity. You will build relationships, manage leads in HubSpot, and guide purchasers through decisions, earning commissions based on performance.

Role emphasizes consultative sales, inbound/outbound prospecting, and community outreach, with training and a strong local presence in the Memphis area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency preferred, especially in Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline through leads, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities and conduct timely follow-ups.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and sales activities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Collaborate with funeral home, cemetery, and operations teams for a positive experience.
