Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to help families navigate funeral and cemetery decisions with care and expertise. You will sell pre-need and at-need services, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and manage leads through HubSpot CRM while building lasting community relationships.

The role emphasizes consultative B2C sales, outreach, and collaboration with funeral homes, cemeteries, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

One year of experience in sales or related relationship-based roles preferred.
Proficiency with CRM software like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
Ability to manage multiple sales leads and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and advise on funeral and cemetery products and services.
Sell pre-need and at-need services and related merchandise.
Develop a pipeline through inbound/outbound leads, referrals, networking, and outreach.
Respond to inquiries and walk-in opportunities; follow up throughout the sales process.
Build long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately; guide purchase decisions.
