Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Site Coordinator to direct installation, modification, and repair work on our project sites in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard high school, GED or vocational school with experience as a journeyman; or equivalent training and experience.
• Must be a team player and/or work well with others.
• Highly preferred: Construction or related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the construction trade.
• Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work.
• Able to supervise the work of skilled and semi-skilled craft workers.
• Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings.
• Maintains good working relationships with personnel of other departments.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally.
• Skilled in the use and care of the standard tools and equipment for the industry.
• Comprehends and can communicate in English

Responsibilities

• This individual is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising work and subcontractors on field project sites
• Works with considerable independence but reports to project field leadership
• Understands the importance of completing the work in accordance with contract documents and building codes
• Plans work from oral and written instructions; assigns and supervises the work of personnel engaged in the installation and repairs
• Supervises, inspects and keeps records of the completion of the punch list
• Recruits and trains skilled trades helper personnel
• Establishes safety and work performance standards
• Manages material and delivery handling plans with team and subcontractors
• Orders and updates jobsite supplies as needed
• Coordinates site cleanup
• Completes miscellaneous duties or special projects as assigned.
