Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Safety Coordinator to safeguard the health and well-being of craft workers and project teams across our sites. You will support safety policy execution, manage on-site risk, and advance Clark’s Culture of Care by partnering with field leadership on risk controls and training.

You will implement safe work practices, administer the Safety, Health, and Environmental program, enforce standards, and conduct site walks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
• Passion and interest in the construction industry

Responsibilities

• Implementing safe working practices and ensuring well-being is a core Clark value
• Assist in administration of Clark’s SH&E program for a safe environment
• Enforce corporate and project safety standards plus federal/state/local rules
• Promote safety culture through coaching and educating employees and contractors
• Develop and implement project-specific safety programs
• Identify hazards and provide input to mitigate conditions and ensure compliance
• Conduct site walks and report safety performance and plans
• Coordinate with field supervision on complex safety aspects like lifts, hazardous materials, fire prevention
• Coordinate third-party safety reviews, including OSHA Basic Qualifications
