Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Site Coordinator to direct installation, modification, and repair activities on our project sites in a supervisory capacity. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise work and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract documents and building codes.

The role requires hands-on site leadership, safety management, and the ability to read drawings and communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard high school, GED or vocational school with experience as a journeyman; or equivalent training and experience
• Must be a team player and/or work well with others
• Highly preferred: Construction or related experience
• Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the construction trade
• Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work
• Able to supervise the work of skilled and semi-skilled craft workers
• Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings
• Maintains good working relationships with personnel of other departments
• Communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally
• Skilled in the use and care of the standard tools and equipment for the industry
• Comprehends and can communicate in English
• Ability to communicate in additional language(s) encouraged

Responsibilities

• Plan work from oral and written instructions; assign and supervise the work of personnel engaged in the installation and repairs
• Supervise, inspect and keep records of the completion of the punch list
• Recruits and trains skilled trades helper personnel
• Establishes safety and work performance standards
• Manages material and delivery handling plans with team and subcontractors
• Orders and updates jobsite supplies as needed
• Coordinates site cleanup
• Completes miscellaneous duties or special projects as assigned
• This individual is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising work and subcontractors on field project sites
• Works with considerable independence but reports to project field leadership
• Understands the importance of completing the work in accordance with contract documents and building codes
