TruTeam in East Windsor, CT, seeks a Sales Consultant to grow our insulation and building materials business with residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, present proposals, and drive new business while delivering superior customer service.

The role emphasizes meeting monthly sales targets, providing product knowledge, and supporting from initial sale to project completion. Local travel >50% required; valid driver’s license may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials and services.
• Understand local market conditions and competitors’ products/prices.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception and inspect sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from sale to project completion.
