Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to grow residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, generate leads, and close deals by presenting product solutions in the construction space.

Expect daily calls, proposals, and account management while hitting monthly targets and ensuring safety at the point of sale. Role requires a background in building products, aggressive lead generation, and strong relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required for company-related travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services.
• Understand the market conditions, monitor competitors and pricing.
• Meet monthly sales targets and communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception.
