Job summary

TruTeam, part of TopBuild Corp., is seeking a Sales Consultant to grow residential and light commercial accounts in East Windsor, CT. You will identify prospects, conduct daily sales calls, present proposals, and build trusted relationships.

The role requires 3+ years in building products sales, a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel locally (>50%), and a safety-conscious approach. Competitive base plus commissions and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs.
• Understand the market that you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites to identify any safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
