Job summary

TruTeam is hiring a Sales Consultant to drive sales of insulation and building materials to residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, make daily sales calls, present proposals and manage accounts from initial sale through project completion.

The role requires 3+ years of building products sales, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally (>50%). A strong track record of meeting targets and providing product knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Understand market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products and pricing.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
