Job summary

TruTeam in Dover, Delaware seeks a results-driven Sales Consultant to grow residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, make daily sales calls, present proposals, and manage accounts from start to finish while building trusted relationships.

You bring 3+ years in building-products sales; a valid driver’s license is required for local travel (>50%). Expect a dynamic, safety‑minded team, base salary with commissions, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs.
• Meet monthly sales targets and communicate safety programs to customers at inception of sale.
