Charlie Mike Recruiting is seeking a Construction Sales Estimator for a client in Dallas, TX. The role blends estimating accuracy with sales skills to win projects and drive revenue.

You will review plans, perform takeoffs, prepare bids, and collaborate with clients, vendors, and the sales team. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 3–5 years in construction estimation with sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction-related field.
• 3–5 years in construction estimation with a sales focus.
• Proficient in estimation software and CRM tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and price labor, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit accurate estimates within deadlines.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance during client meetings and presentations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Present and explain estimates to clients; assist in negotiating contracts and closing sales.
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors; confirm scope and cost accuracy.
• Monitor market trends to keep estimates competitive and identify value engineering opportunities.
