Job summary

Charlie Mike Recruiting seeks a Construction Sales Estimator to generate accurate cost estimates for construction projects while driving sales opportunities. This role combines technical estimating with client engagement and requires clear communication to present estimates.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in construction estimation with sales experience, proficiency in Bluebeam and PlanSwift, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction estimation experience with sales focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Business preferred.
• Experience generating and closing sales in construction.
• Proficient in estimation software and CRM tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and docs to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and price labor, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit accurate estimates within deadlines.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support during client meetings and presentations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Present and explain estimates to clients and assist in negotiation of contracts.
• Follow up on submitted bids to close sales and gather feedback.
