Job summary

Charlie Mike Recruiting is seeking a Construction Sales Estimator to generate accurate cost estimates for construction projects and drive sales opportunities. The role combines technical estimating with client-facing activities to win bids and deliver value.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of construction estimation experience with a sales focus, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Bluebeam and PlanSwift. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Certifications in construction estimation or sales are a plus.
• 3–5 years in construction estimation with sales focus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specs to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and price labor, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit estimates within deadlines.
• Collaborate with sales to understand client needs and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance during client meetings and presentations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Present estimates to clients and assist in contract negotiations and bid follow-ups.
• Obtain quotes and coordinate with vendors/subcontractors for cost accuracy.
• Monitor market trends and identify value engineering opportunities.
