Job summary

ADUSA Corporate Support in Cary, NC, is seeking a Project Manager I for Store Development to oversee new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through warranty close-out. You will lead bidding, contracts, budgets, schedules and cross-functional coordination with Purchasing, Real Estate, Operations, and vendors.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in construction projects, and the ability to travel weekly across NC/SC/VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; Preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry
• Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through influence and drive accountability across contractors, developers / landlords, vendors and cross-functional partners.
• Practical construction technology and methods
• Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and execute complex phased planning and construction schedules.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to recognize construction risk, evaluate alternatives and drive issues to resolution.
• Ability to travel weekly

Responsibilities

• Manage the bidding and awarding processes related to all GC's, CM's, subcontractors and suppliers for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Manage the compilation of all bid documents and RFQ packages for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Manage contracts, purchase orders, processing, and payment of requisitions and invoices.
• Oversee Construction Change Authorization/Change Order processes and ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate schedules, milestones, and turnover requirements across multiple projects.
• Inspect progress for adherence to plans and standards, including Food Lion requirements.
