Job summary

ADUSA Corporate Support is seeking a Project Manager I in Store Development to lead new store, expansion, and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. The role involves budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination with a focus on timely store openings.

Applicants should be authorized to work in the United States, willing to travel up to 80% (Mon-Thu) with a remote office day on Friday, and reside in NC, SC, or VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding for GC's, CM's, subcontractors and vendors on Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Prepare contracts, purchase orders, and process payments for construction work.
• Oversee change orders, budget updates, and cost reporting to keep stakeholders informed.
• Direct project meetings, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Refrigeration, Real Estate and other departments for project readiness.
