Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I in Store Development to lead new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will oversee bidding, contracts, schedules, and budget adherence across multiple sites in the ME/NC/PA/SC region.

The role requires 80% travel Monday-Thursday with a remote office day on Friday; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States full-time. Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of construction experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years of construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes.
• Ability to lead projects through influence across contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes for GC/CM and subcontractors.
• Oversee contracts, purchase orders, and payment processing for Food Lion-contracted work.
• Coordinate construction schedules, phasing, and milestones to ensure on-time store openings.
• Provide project risk mitigation, safety oversight, and cross-functional coordination.
