Job summary

Valcourt Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the project, coordinate activities, and ensure on-time completion. You will analyze drawings and specs, set deadlines, establish schedules, procure materials, and monitor progress, potentially handling more than one project simultaneously.

Responsibilities include managing bids, take-offs, vendor pricing, ensuring proper documentation, site visits, and final close-out with warranties and punch lists, while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Read and understand commercial plans, specs and details.
• Proficient in Excel and Word and commercial estimating software.
• Knowledge of construction plans, OSHA procedures and waterproofing.
• Ability to create a comprehensive estimate for any project.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to multitask across bidding and projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure scopes meet industry standards and are profitable.
• Operate and care for company equipment, vehicles, and small tools.
• Communicate with owners and consulting engineers to create comprehensive bids.
• Perform accurate take-offs and collect current vendor pricing.
• Coordinate with Foreman and crew, ensuring documentation and schedules are up to date.
