The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years of related experience, and is proficient in Excel/Word and estimating software, with a strong focus on organization and safety.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret commercial plans, specs, and details.
• Proficient in Excel and Word, with commercial estimating software.
• Knowledge of construction plans, OSHA procedures, waterproofing products.
• Ability to create a comprehensive estimate for projects.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Stay organized and multi-task during bid, pre, and post project duties.
• Contribute to a culture built on respect, self-improvement, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure scopes are completed per standards and profitable.
• Operate company equipment, vehicles, and small tools.
• Create comprehensive bids with owners and engineers.
• Perform accurate take-offs.
• Collect current pricing from vendors.
• Coordinate materials and scope for Foreman and crew.
• Initiate submittal process after an award and provide required information.
• Ensure all paperwork (POs, change orders, RFIs, shop drawings) is completed.
• Visit sites to manage progress and align with owner expectations.
• Communicate scheduling needs to Foreman and ownership.
• Close out contracts with warranties and final inspection punch lists.
