Job summary

The Valcourt Groups seeks a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of construction projects in Florida. You will analyze drawings, set deadlines, procure materials, and monitor progress, coordinating with foremen and crew to deliver on time and within budget.

You must read plans, prepare estimates, manage multiple projects, and ensure safety and quality. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus 2+ years of experience, is required. Email [e-mail] for inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Must read and understand commercial plans, specs and details.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and commercial estimating software.
• Must create comprehensive estimates for projects.
• Highly self-motivated and organized with multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage pre/post project duties while bidding.
• Commitment to respect, self-improvement and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure scopes are completed per standards and profitably.
• Operate company equipment and coordinate with Foreman and crew.
• Create comprehensive bids with accurate take-offs.
• Obtain pricing from vendors and issue purchase orders.
• Finalize contracts, warranties, and close-out documents.
• Conduct site visits and communicate scheduling with ownership.
