Qualifications

• Requires reading and understanding of construction plans, specs and details.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; experience with estimating software.
• Knowledge of construction plans, OSHA procedures, and waterproofing products/installations.
• Ability to create comprehensive estimates for projects.
• Highly self-motivated and organized.
• Ability to multi-task and manage pre/post project duties while bidding.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure scopes meet standards and remain profitable.
• Operate and maintain company equipment, vehicles and tools.
• Coordinate with owners and engineers to prepare comprehensive bids.
• Perform accurate take-offs and gather current pricing from vendors.
• Communicate project details and changes to Foreman and crew.
• Initiate submittal processes and provide necessary information after award.
• Ensure purchase orders and paperwork (change orders, RFIs, submittals) are completed.
• Conduct site visits to align plans with owner expectations and Foreman needs.
• Close out contracts with warranties and final inspection punch lists.
• Document substantial and final completion dates with all parties.
