Job summary

Valcourt Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of construction projects. You will analyze drawings, set deadlines, establish schedules, procure materials, and monitor progress.

You may handle multiple projects concurrently and will ensure all details and documents are organized for Foremen and crews. The role requires reading plans, estimating, and strong communication with owners and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years related experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read and understand commercial plans, specs and details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and estimating software.
• Knowledge of construction plans and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to create a comprehensive estimate for any project.
• Highly self-motivated and organized.
• Able to multi-task and manage pre/post project duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure scopes are completed per standards and profitability.
• Operate and care for company equipment, vehicles, and small tools.
• Communicate with owners and consulting engineers to create bids.
• Perform accurate take-offs.
• Collect current pricing from vendors.
• Coordinate with Foreman and crew on materials and scope.
• Initiate submittal process and provide information as needed.
• Ensure purchase orders and paperwork (change orders, RFI’s, shop drawings) are timely.
• Conduct site visits to manage projects and align with owner expectations.
• Communicate scheduling needs to the Foreman and ownership team.
• Finalize contracts, warranties, and close-out documents.
