Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC seeks a capable Project Coordinator to support the Project Management team with customer service, organization, and inside support. You will help track orders to ensure they are current and in good standing and assist with quotes, work orders, and submittals.

This role requires strong communication with general contractors, customers, and field technicians, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Blue print reading and specification interpretation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management in coordination and communication to meet construction schedule.
• Prepare and submit quotes and work orders; perform take-offs from blueprints and process revisions.
• Communicate status of orders to General Contractors, Customers, and Field Technicians; prepare timely reports.
• Follow-up correspondence primarily via email.
• Respond promptly to phone calls; communicate with factories and suppliers.
• Monitor orders and provide shipment tracking.
• Prepare direct entry sales orders.
• Coordinate project submittal process and product data sheets, samples, schedules.
• Provide close-out documents; escalate issues to PM/Team Lead when needed.
• Coordinate orders across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
• Demonstrate knowledge of materials: Doors, Frames, Door Hardware.
