Southland Industries is seeking a Project Coordinator in Carrollton, TX to provide administrative and operational support, including data entry, reporting, and maintaining project documentation and schedules.

The role supports Project Managers with scheduling, subcontract tracking, and contract compliance, while ensuring timely material, timecard, and submittal processing in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and reporting for COINS ERP system.
• Assist PMs with MS Project scheduling.
• Assemble and track subcontracts, change orders, insurance, billings, lien releases, and payroll.
• Issue and track purchase orders and material receipts.
• Review timecards for union personnel and maintain manpower lists.
• Prepare project submittal binders and OMs.
• Assist in daily field report tracking.
• Gather and submit licenses, insurance certificates, safety docs, and MSDS sheets.
• Analyze open commitments at closeout and resolve costs before close.
