Job summary

The VMI Group Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to act as a liaison between internal and external project team members. This role collaborates with Project Management, Operations, AP, and Payroll teams to keep projects on track.

You will maintain records, manage document control, process RFIs and submittals, and assist with cost tracking and closeout packages in a fast-paced construction environment. Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential, with room for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant construction office experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain project records throughout construction
• Manage document control, plan distribution, and project binders
• Process RFIs and submittals and distribute project documents
• Invoice entry, organization, and coding
• Organize and maintain cost control logs for projects, timesheets, daily schedule, material tickets, corporate card receipts, and additional office documentation
• Initiate and follow up with the OUPS (Ohio Utilities Protection Services) process
• Ensure all timesheets are complete
• Assemble project closeout packages (as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties)
