McGough offers a Project Management Internship designed to give hands-on, real-world experience on high-profile construction projects. You will gain mentorship, networking opportunities, and exposure to multiple roles across the organization to jumpstart your career in construction.

As an intern, you will craft bid letters, perform quantity take-offs, review bids, help with trade scope decisions, draft owner recommendations, and keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Fast-paced environment; ready to tackle challenges head-on.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech-savvy; quick to learn new tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Craft bid solicitation letters to subcontractors.
• Perform quantity take-offs and basic math calculations.
• Review subcontractor bids and assess competitiveness.
• Assist with trade scope reviews and recap sheets.
• Draft owner recommendations and participate in project meetings.
• Provide regular schedule updates to keep projects on track.
• Assist with RFI process and information management.
• Oversee submittals and ensure timely progress.
• Track punch lists and support project closeouts.
• Monitor Cost Control Log and budgets.
