McGough offers an Internship/Co-op in Project Management designed to give students real-world construction experience across high-profile projects. You will gain exposure to bid processes, scheduling, RFI handling, and cost tracking while receiving mentorship and opportunities for school credit.

Ideal candidates are upperclass students in Construction Management or related fields who are team players, communicators, self-motivated, and tech-savvy, ready to learn and lead when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Able to work in fast-paced environments and tackle challenges.
• Willing to learn quickly and take initiative when needed.

Responsibilities

• Draft bid solicitation letters to subcontractors.
• Perform quantity take-offs and basic math tasks.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and determine best value.
• Assist with trade scope reviews and recap sheets.
• Draft owner recommendations and communicate clearly.
• Maintain project schedules with regular updates.
• Manage the RFI process and documentation.
• Oversee submittals and ensure timely movement.
• Track punch lists and support closeouts.
• Monitor Cost Control Log and budgets.
• Participate in PM and corporate meetings.
• Engage in training and development opportunities.
