Job summary

McGough offers an Internship/Co-op in Project Management designed to provide hands-on experience across our construction projects. You’ll receive mentorship, networking opportunities, and exposure to multiple organizational roles to jumpstart your career in construction.

You will contribute to bid letters, take-offs, schedules, RFIs and submittals while gaining practical skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Construction Management/Engineering degree; open to sophomores, juniors and seniors.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and welcomes challenges.
• Team player who can step up to lead when needed.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable learning new tools and systems.
• Wamiliarity with problem-solving and innovation in construction workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send bid solicitation letters to subcontractors.
• Perform quantity take-offs and simple math tasks.
• Analyze subcontractor bids and identify best value.
• Support trade scope reviews and recap sheets.
• Draft letters to owners to convey recommendations.
• Keep project schedules updated with regular progress notes.
• Manage RFIs and ensure timely responses.
• Oversee submittals and ensure timely processing.
• Track punch lists and assist with closeouts.
• Support project closeout documentation and handovers.
