Job summary

Pave America is looking for a Commercial Sales Representative to identify, develop, and maintain client relationships in the paving industry. You will own relationships for assigned accounts, drive retention and growth, and communicate capabilities from bidding to project execution.

The ideal candidate will excel in communication, presentation, and negotiation, building connections at all levels of client organizations and shaping strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related sales experience.
• Experience selling construction services (asphalt or concrete) preferred.
• Experience selling to Managers and Directors within organizations.
• Experience managing project cycles from start to close.
• Strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge.
• Ability to create and execute quarterly/annual business plans.
• Strong presence, communication, and credibility.
• Track record of hitting or exceeding goals.
• Forecasting and business reporting responsibilities.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Tech orientation to use CRM, bid preparation and job cost software.

Responsibilities

• Engage new and existing clients to demonstrate value of our portfolio.
• Develop and maintain relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, and project teams for proposals.
• Participate in bid reviews and preconstruction meetings to align scope.
• Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Regularly engage clients to understand upcoming projects and needs.
• Manage resources with dedicated teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Align company solutions to customer business needs and technical requirements.
• Exhibit strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Identify new and emerging markets and provide consultative sales approach.
