Job summary

Pave America is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to own relationships with a portfolio of clients in the paving and construction space. The role requires clear communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to articulate our capabilities and win new work.

You will work with estimating, operations, and project management teams to develop competitive proposals, present to stakeholders, and sustain long-term partnerships across diverse client accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent sales experience.
• Experience hitting an individual quota in direct sales.
• Experience selling construction services, asphalt or concrete is a plus.
• Ability to engage managers and directors.
• Experience managing a complete project cycle from start to close.
• Strategic mindset for new business development.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Engage new and existing clients to demonstrate value of our portfolio.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations and project management for proposals.
• Lead bid reviews and preconstruction meetings aligning scope and capabilities.
• Present proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Maintain regular client engagement to forecast future opportunities.
