Job summary

Alpha Paving Industries LLC is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to identify, develop, and maintain client relationships within the construction and paving industry. You will own key accounts, drive revenue growth, and collaborate with estimating, operations, and project management to deliver competitive proposals and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant past sales experience.
• Experience selling construction services, asphalt or concrete preferred.
• Ability to sell to managers and directors within an organization.
• Experience managing the entire project cycle from start to close.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Familiar with CRM, bid preparation and job costing tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage new and existing clients and drive revenue growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships for retention and expansion.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, and PM teams on proposals.
• Lead bid reviews and preconstruction meetings to align scope.
• Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Maintain ongoing client engagement to anticipate needs.
• Manage resources with teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Align solutions to customer business needs and requirements.
• Demonstrate strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Resolve complex problems and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Attend industry events to promote services and relationships.
• Provide market feedback and opportunities to management.
• Identify new and emerging vertical markets.
• Offer consultative sales approaches to clients.
• Exhibit strong sales, negotiation, and team-building skills.
